These days we are preparing the launch of the SmartISV club, geared towards executive development managers of Israeli start-ups and software companies who work in the global market.
As part of the club’s launch, we will be hosting a unique convention in which we will present lectures relevant to these development managers.
Among the lectures we will deal with technical topics such as Agile development methodology from the manager’s perspective, upgrade possibilities for the client, development tool comparisons, automatic tools for code security checks, the options that an ISV has for securing their code from duplications and, of course, a
survey of new trends in the software world.
As part of the business-technological track we will focus on different options the international IT companies lay out before ISVs who are interesting in becoming partners, we will hold a panel with international IT executives who are responsible for handling ISVs in their companies, a discussion on the effects of cloud
computing and open source on traditional ISV businesses and discuss the licensing agreements the ISV holds against the providers, partners and clients. We will also
try to touch on the relationship between the ISV development manager and the board and investors, from the point of view of the venture capital funds.
On the ISV developers management track, we will touch on the right ways to keep your important developers, compare development costs in Israel and the rest of the world, and reveal detailed reports regarding the demand for programers in every field, complete with detailed wage charts.
